Mattias Clymer REALTOR®

Mattias is passionate about helping people and naturally found himself studying psychology at EMU. After getting his Bachelors of Science, he worked as a behavior specialist in the Harrisonburg City school system. Eventually, the love of Real Estate and the freedom of entrepreneurship called Mattias to pursue being a REALTOR®.

Since beginning to sell real estate in 2014, Mattias strove to do more than just sell real estate. He sought to empower the people he serves through systems and information. This desire to inform is why he started the Harrisonburg Homeowner blog in 2014.

In the subsequent years, Mattias worked his way to be a top producer for Funkhouser Real Estate Group. He focused most of his energy on becoming a marketing specialist by polishing his skills as an architectural photographer and by pursuing the highest levels of marketing. While residential real estate has always been his focus, Mattias also became part of the Funkhouser Commercial team.

In 2017, Mattias started an Investment club to bring investors together to discuss strategies that have created success in the past and pitfalls to avoid. To continue his pursuit of the best marketing, Mattias became a licensed drone pilot and a 3D tour photographer.

In 2018, Mattias was in the top 10 performing individual agents in the Harrisonburg and Rockingham Association of Realtors.

In 2019, Mattias was named a top REALTOR® by Virginia Living Magazine. He was also sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors for the Harrisonburg Rockingham Association of Realtors. In addition to serving on the board, Mattias started the Harrisonburg Homeowner Kiva team where he seeks to unify the local community to help other communities across the world through the power of micro loans.
